Honour killings are still "normal" in Turkey. It is a shame ... no matter if it was a gay or if it is a young girl that got raped and honour killed for having sex before marriage. I actually wonder this happened at that part of Turkey as such news are more expected from the countryside.

This is truly a tragedy. Its sad that some people are so full of hate and rage that they commit these heinous acts. Gay, Bisexual and Straight. It doesn't change the fact that Ahmet was a human being. He laugh, cried and love. His homosexuality harmed no-one.

It sickens me that there are people who would praise this sort of behaviour. My thoughts and prayers to Ahmet's friends and loved ones. Let's just hope the world wakes up before it's too late.
