i think about how shitty i feel using my macbook and iPhone so much... i can't even bear to think about having a screen everywhere i turn. that would piss me off.... that's way too much. the good thing about tech today is it's advanced, but if you want to get away, you can go for a run, or a drive, or down town or something. there's no way for them to. it's everywhere they turn. that's almost scary to me.

I suggest having an on/off button/icon for each screen that has a camera. Also regarding the concern towards them being fragile glass can actually be very strong.

In the future, the only viable and available jobs will be fashion designers and ad agencies. Everything else is handled via automation.

As a result, clothes will go out of fashion the moment you walk out of the store. Mountains of clothing waste will ensue. Because no matter how versatile those glass displays are, they are not wearable.

I have one of those features, "The Iris Video Phone" Last Christmas I send one over seas and my family there connected, to the BIG screen HD TV. I did the same here in my house. Richard, I agree with you, we are already living in a controlled world. This video just prefigure a step forward. What really scares me is the way such disquieting situation is presented. an happy near future, full of beautiful technology that makes you live more comfortably in a even more controlled world. Hypocrisy and deceive, that's what upset me. You and me are aware of what this video means, but most of people watch this video and don't see "the other side of the coin". That is scary.

It didn't mention that the glass had cameras at all points. The kids wave at the counter and grandma can see them! There must be a camera everywhere there is a picture.

Then the Wall-Format-Diaplay glass they all stand in front of and the others can see. Although this is about "display" it assumes that all displays are two way, but doesn't mention that. Wonder of wonders.
