I really enjoyed the duet between the villain and his....girlfriend? Sister? Something (I don't speak Japanese, so I'm not entirerly sure what she was to him...someone he cared enough about to turn into a bad guy when she died, presumably). They both had great voices.....and I can't believe I just spent...what? The better part of two hours trasnfixed by an entire musical where I didn't have a clue what anyone was saying :D
@SeraphinaAizen1 Haruka (the girl) is Iruma (the villain)'s girlfriend who died in a fire. An ancient Zanpakutou with grudge against the Soul Society lied to Iruma that Haruka's soul is imprisoned at the SS, and if he want to rescue her, he has to feed it with Shinigami's blood. The bird hollow was Haruka, who had turned into a hollow because of love to Iruma kept he from going to the SS. She could not speak because her attempt to keep her humanity costed her voice.
Rukia: Ichigo, you too. Thank you. To know that someone will be sad because of my death means that my heart will have a place to stay when I'm gone (refer to Kaien speech).
Ichi: Don't say stupid things like that. I only felt sorry for you. Don't say things about that.
Rukia: Yeah, you're right.

Excuse my not understanding Japanese, but, when all the taichou(s) entered, I frankly thought Shirou said that, "We were just watching the fun, when we made you believe that Kuchiki was dead. Especially Byakuya. He said he was testing you for future REFERENCE. ;) And. It was EPIC. "
i have a question. why didn't ukitake's actor bow? i don't know about the etiquette for this sort of thing but every bowed at the waist and he sort of...nodded. I'm sure he wasn't trying to be rude, maybe his wig came loose while he was doing that kick ass ballet and bowing would cause it to fall off, i dunno.
