  • if your amp was bridge and you just have 1 amp. why do you need a crossover.. a crossover is to cross frequency (hi,mid,low)... do you have subs??? if so you can't run a 1/4 speaker cable from it 2 your tops... you would need a 4 pin speakon cable... and 2 amps or both ch of your amp (not in bridge mono)

  • awesome mat. I can see that you EP2500 is in bridge mode?? is that right? or are you just using one channel?

I am just wondering if you are using the bridge mode, could you please advise on how? and what connection do i need to change on speakon cable wiring.I have the same poweramp but i dont know how to change it to the bridge mode..

    thanks

  • what's that stupid music?

  • Nice, Now U just need a REAL AMP!!!!! The name of a real amp is this: .....CROWN , the XTi amps or Itech

  • @kyle2284 which xti amp do you have?

  • @FlatulEssence (24) Xti 2000's for my fullrange cabs and (36) Xti 4000's for my subs. I have a touring sound company

  • @kyle2284 You mean you have 60 Xti ams altogether? Wow, unimaginable! That must drive several sets of JBL Vr speakers man!

  • COOL! A real Cross over,...... Now all U need is a real amp!!!!!!! The Name of a real amp is CROWN, if u have a bigger budget look at lab gruppen. Those are real amps

  • nice video. can u tell me how hook a crossover with the amp?

  • @juancs1813 most subwoofers have a built in cross-over. the amp may have a cross-over for subwoofers only that can be found in the manual of your amplifier.

  • agree, jack terminals should be sealed inside the enclosure.

  • in 2001 when i was in highschool i wanted to built a pa dj system out of car audio it woult be compact like shown on your vid the crossover. so car amps1000.1 JL w6 you can imagine the design pimp my dj right. 120v to 12-14v.

  • Dude i have the same set up, like what u had I have a EP2500 looked up with a PWM 20 preamp it actually works real nice but that is a preamp for a car ...gud stuff man thumbs up.....................

  • a wats the name of the song your playin in this video.

  • savage - swing

  • Just checking, but judging by the amp signal your subs were not in mono? Just a little tip, run subs in mono and you get a little more db. Human ear can't hear stereo with low frequencies.

    Great video!

  • The crossover has L and R input and only one channel sub output, thanks for the tip though. for some reason the amp likes to light up both channels as if they both have signal in bridge mono mode even though only channel 1 has input.

  • @RockTheHouse4 Parallel mode maybe?

  • @iceman977th you got it, Bridge mono on the amplifier, both channels combined and driven at 4 ohms when both 8 ohm speakers linked in parallel.

  • @RockTheHouse4 I meant as to why you were getting signal on both channels with one input

  • @iceman977th the amp uses both channels and combines both channels and outputs them to a single output. (bridge mono)

  • that was a nice ass cross over.

  • Nice Cross Over man its actually a good brand man congrats bro !!
