here's my contention as to why catchweights for that fight should never exist. Both have fought at 154, it is very easy for Mayweather to make 154 or his natural, he walks around at 150. Martinez contends as he stated in a previous ESN vid, that he walks around at 160 and has no problem making 154. Floyd won the lineal title from Oscar then retired. Since Sergio has campaigned at 160 and 154. Just makes since for both to fight 154. Fight nite Floyd will be 154, Sergio 160ish maybe

Usually when it's boxer vs boxer, the taller longer fighter has the advantage. Martinez can just stay back throwing combinations but far enough so he wont get countered. Mayweather is most likely to be the aggreser in the fight.

@CHRISTIANNWO de la hoya didn't give mayweather any problems lol. it may have looked like he did but he didn't. numbers don't lie. oscar de la hoya threw over 100 more punches than mayweather in the fight but mayweather hit him 100 more times. that's a 200 punch differential. all de la hoya did was throw a ton of punches but none landed. there was no struggle in this fight. some judges and fans just award volume punches regardless if they land. which is why williams won against lara.
