buffy does not die three times, she only died twice. willow took the bullet out of her body, and since buffy was not dead, the wound healed. if buffy had been dead, then tara didn't have to die, as willow could have done the same thing for tara as well, but that's not what happened. so buffy was not dead.

she only dies in season 1 and season 5
