The reason why GHD stylers don't have temperature control, is because the iron adjusts to your hair type and automatically uses the temperature that it believes is good for your hair. :P

I know! Personally, its not really that they write me off as being indian (because according to pretty much everyone, I'm the whitest brown person you will ever meet even though I can speak hindi flunetly -.-) it's because I dress "preppy" or whatever. Stereotypes are so stupid like that.

I think you should check out the standard Chi if you can spend about $70. But if you want something even cheaper, check out the Remington.
