hey man i need a tutorial or something for this.. i'm pretending to buy one for christmas and i dont know how it works at all... do you need another machine to get it work?
I use a few samples on it, I would definitely recommend the UW version. On the other hand I have never tried to work without samples so I guess you'll have to decide for yourself. I'd definitely recommend the samples though!
that's the sampling one, I think all instruments in that one are samples too. I love it cause you can really be quite broad in the sounds and easily do melodic/harmonic stuff. I'm exploring the inbuilt "synths" though for melodic songs. More videos to come :)
excellent composition! -thanks

Are the pads velocity sensitive? Doesn't really matter to me though, this thing sounds amazing

Any Elektron machinedrum put Rolands and Korgs back to them boxes.
Handmade from Europe no CHINA and outstanding quality sound.

which synthesis type do you use for the melodic stuff (e.g. bass and chord stabs)?

nice.
not really my type of music, but there is sooo much going on.

are all these sounds original from the machinedrum?
or did you load them up to the machine?
???
i ask because i have an option to by the sps1, but not the sps1-uw...
i wonder if the sps1 is good enough in compare to the sps1-uw???
