wow sick planes, I know that ridge out at Mclean Creek very well, just wish i was up there to watch teh show. Helped my dad build a first gen glasair back in the 80's.(for sale now ironically) Back in the day they where the rocket of experimental HB....the the Legends and new Glasairs are just sick!

"how hard are they to build?" well, that really depends on the builder... the garrett install was a custom "one off", along with all the cowls and systems. the legend kit itself can be a challenge as the plans/manualls are for the most part... useless

if you can build a lancair IV propjet without plans, you shouldnt have any isues building a legend. prices are in the high 6 digit range

@jetdoctr You mean the Low six figures. The kit costs $130k. Add to that a turbine, and build costs and you'd still not be over $300k. Which, btw, is a very do-able number for a few guys together.
