I am not tryin to be a dick or anything..since you are totally right, but what you describe has been the way it has been for way more than a decade. particularly in the major label world. And there are lots of bands out there making great music but you have to search for them. Or start a band that plays what you want to hear. I play so i can tell you how hard it is to try to survive as a original band. Keeping people involved alone is an up hill battle.

I am a girl who grew up on metal and yes, I will agree with ya Bruce is good but not all bands are maiden and not all of them should be fronted by bruce, that is what makes music great, the variety of talent.
