Hey have you tried the painkiller by bkp? Because I have been really looking at BKP pickups for my Schecter but cant decide between Nailbombs or Painkillers or get both but where to put each one if i get both lol any advice you have would be great! Btw if it helps I play 80's - current metal mostly!

Interesting choice. I wouldn't have expected someone who plays the genres you do to go for a Nailbomb since it's such high output.

I'm in the market for some nice handwound pickups, been looking at a few companies and I play similar styles as you. What made you go with the Nailbomb? As of now I've pretty much limited my selections to Hot PAF types, but maybe you have some insight I hadn't considered.

You're an incredible player, Sam. What I find truly refreshing about it, is the fact that I don't hear a single sweep arpeggio in your playing. Instead, you choose to stick mainly to a very fluid legato style and using mainly half to whole step bends with the occasional pinch harmonic. The tones you pull out of that Les Paul are more of what I'd expect to hear from a Fender or Charvel. Bare Knuckles should be paying you a nice little endorsement check for this video, for I think I will buy 'em.
