  • Yeah, I slept with Marna, Dick!

  • S'all happening!

  • peggy sue, peggy sue, pretty pretty pretty pretty peggy sue

  • At 4:23, they were all thinking the same thing.

"God, I really wish the plane has crashed."

  • FUCK IT, I'M...I'M GAY!

  • "I'm gay!!"

His only dialogue in the movie but he nails it... ;D

  • Jason Lee with that lean and stare at the end is friggin' priceless. LOL

  • @danimal97520 LOL!

  • this was actually based on a real moment cameron crowe had while on a plane with the WHO.

  • A band member "coming-out"? What a surprise. Fun fact: every band... rock band or boy band... has a gay member, or at least one of them, he-he-he! I love this scene. Also love the "Bus" scene.

  • Talk about Akward in the aftermath : D

  • "Electrical storm?" "We shouldn't be here" lmao

  • What I always loved about this scene is the irony in which William, who was treated like a naive little kid and was "too sweet for rock and roll", ultimately has the most wisdom of anyone else on that plane despite their hot rod "rock and roll" lifestyle. And you can see on their faces that they all know it.

  • The minute he shouted 'I'm Gay!' I just knew they're gonna make it.

  • It's very eerie and spooky when the pilot comes out and says their going to try and land in a field. If memory serves, the pilots from the Lynyrd Skynyrd crash of Oct.20, 1977 also tried to land in a field. Sadly of course they missed the field, landed in a swamp and 6 lives were lost including Skynyrd lead singer Ronnie Van Zant. This scene always makes me think of that crash.

  • I QUIT!!!!!!

  • Does anybody knows the song? ...almost in the end...

  • Who was the guy in the movie supposed to be who shouts "I'm GAY", because when I clicked this from a link I thought it was John Entwistle. Can you give me the character and not the actor's name, thanks.

  • For some reason I always crack up when Jimmy Fallon says "I hit a man. I hit him an just kept on goin."

  • Yes Chocolate...most people sadly enough have very low standards of what a ''freind'' actually is. As for me, what most people call ''freinds'' I call aquaintances.

  • its a reference to the skynyrd accident

  • Buddy Holly, obviously.

  • its not buddy holly, crowe worked for rolling stone and toured with skynyrd, its a reference to the lynyrd skynyrd plane crash

  • Oh alright. My mistake I thought because he started singing Peggy Sue when they hit turbulance it was a Buddy Holly reference... Did someone from Skynyrd write that song? Before they were born?

  • no but a song is a song, the film is semi-auto-biographical, and he toured with skynyrd not buddy holly just makes more sense to me

  • Can it just be a reference to ALL rock artists who died in plane crashes?

  • The singing of Peggy Sue is a reference to Buddy Holly. There is also a reference to the Big Bopper. It may also be a reference to Skynyrd, but it is more directly a reference to Buddy Holly.

  • I don't think there is a Skynyrd reference, there plane went down in 1977, this was in 1973 before that tragic event..

  • Brilliant scene.

  • billy crudup looks like brad delp in this movie (cute as heck)

  • do you noice that their glasses never spill

  • ya they do

  • Leslie's doesn't
