Lol I hate the ramp glitch. When you approach the first set of ramps after re-entering the 3d lava tunnel area, the first 2 ramps are there, but the glitch makes it look like it is only one, until u get closer.

@AnimaniacZero Same here. Well I had one instance where I somehow was ahead of the Egg Dragoon in the 3D part, but other than that no problems.

I've never had glitch problems with this game, and I play this on the 360. Don't home into the walls, that's all.

am I the only one that didnt find this that difficult? didnt find it that glitchy at all. Only glitch I had trouble with trying to hit him just as it was transitioning to 2D. Just don't do that and you should be fine

I've never experienced any glitches with this boss. Maybe this is something that only affects the PS3 version? Anyway, nice run dude.

The transition from 2D to 3D is the glitchiest part.

Sometimes the target appears over him, yet you can't actually attack for some reason.

@GreatNegus I don't think that counts as glitchy. You can't hit him when he starts moving up and into the background and he appears to move into the background more quickly at the start of the 2D section than at other points, so by the time you actually get to him, it's already too late.

If you're referring to just before the transition, the perspective is changing and you're heading into a different part of the battle. It'd probably cause problems if you were allowed to make it.

"Plenty of glitches"? That one wall jump that you couldn't do for some reason aside, I saw nothing in any of my playthroughs of this boss or this video that looks anything like a glitch. Would you please elaborate on this?

As for moving, I never noticed the restriction because I only bothered to quick step, so I wasn't affected.

I'm not seeing what's weird about the boss. The most annoying part for me was accidentally jumping off the rails when jumping over the spikes.

I tried to beat all the bosses on hard to unlock the Dr.Eggman avatar costume, all the rest of the bosses weren't that bad but Egg Dragoon is a bloody nightmare. You have to hit him so many times and you don't get any checkpoints.

After so many tries I got to the free falling bit, died straight away and had to start all over again ><

Honestly this looks a lot easier than it is, that freefall part always screws me up because it seems like no matter whether I'm speeding up or not, 2 missles always find their way to me, no matter how I try and dodge them.

I get your point, but this its suposed to be like the Day Bosses of Sonic Unleashed, thats the reason behind the mechanics of the fight.
