I agree with some of the comments. The past two albums sounded more like Funeral Mist than Marduk, and I hope the upcoming album will sound more like this EP than to the previous two albums. BTW both Legion and Mortuus are great vocalists and both fit Marduk perfectly on their own.

@LordOfNihil No they arent. Sorry, but high def audio didnt exist in the 1940's. And air-raid sirens are still in service around the world today, so it is probably a newer recording of one. as for those bomb whistling sounds, they dont really exist. they are cheap sound effects used in movies. some bombs had whistles, but the way the doppler effect of high to low sounds here is false. no microphone would have ever been in a position to record a bomb making a high to low whistle.

damn you kids and your new fangled digital concept of high definition. back in the 40s it was all analog etched into wax and coded onto wire, which is about as much definition as you need. they had recording equipment. it wasnt the god damned stone age. hell half the sound effects and footage in pre-1960s war movies is real, just because it was cheaper to use gun camera footage or field recordings than to have a sound engineer come up with the sounds from scratch.

@LordOfNihil footage, yeah. but just because you hear an air-raid siren why must it be a recording made in WW2? that doesnt make sense, the sound is too crisp in 320 kbs mp3 format. there were ample times to record original ww2 sirens since they were used up into the 80s during the cold war.

and those bomb whistling sounds are also not authentic. the doppler effect does not work that way. You'd need to be between the drop point and the ground AND have a microphone guarded against 300mph wind.
