well to tell u the truth SoapNet is a part of Disney and they are going to be changing it to Disney JR... I know this stuff because I used to work for Disney when they anonce this

It's because the networks have a vendetta against older people. We can't see well enough to enjoy stuff on palm-sized gadgets with teensy buttons to control... Once you get used to a 27" or larger TV it's just a big downgrade to look at it on small screens. Even decent-size computer monitors are a step backwards...

why all the hate the reason theyre stopping soapnet is because of the growth of video on demand so you can see all your soaps on the internet like on hulu and soap's channels like ABC, NBC, and cbs websites
if you want more info on why soapnet is discontinuing read an article on soapnet on wikipedia

Disney JR is a fail. Cartoon Network use to have a preschool block but it was canceled due to poor ratings.

@Digatone at least Cartoon network and some extent Nickelodeon tells kids "Hey kids get off the couch and stop watch our shit and go out and play" Disney does'nt there saying "huck-huck we like promoting childhood obesity" i wish Robert Iger and Anne Sweeney would wake up and smell the shit there shoveling
