i've heard it two different ways.

one prof told me that using WORSE is similar to using MOST, but more accurate.

however, the other prof told me opposite.

so im not really sure, but i'd stick to using MOST instead. :)

You have some good ASL concepts overall, but watch your use of the sign MAKE. The sign you used is when you actually, physically make something with your hands. Also, your use of S-O could be misconstrued as SO-WHAT if signed outward. You don't necessarily need to sign CLOSE, especially if you show that they are close with classifiers.

Also, you don't need to repeatedly sign the question-marker if your upraised eyebrows indicate that grammar aspect in ASL. Love the song, keep working! =]

No problem! We are constantly learning and tweaking our skills, especially with a language as complex as ASL. I would hope that you would return the favor and give me feedback on my videos when I load them, so I can grow. One thing I find particularly helpful is to go to Deaf events. Deaf people are the best teachers when it comes to ASL. I learn so much more with them than I do in a classroom.

yes, ive been VERY active in the Deaf community for the past seven years, first in the houston area, and now in waco. i go to deaf club every month, deaf socials almost weekly, i volunteer at a parent ASL class among with a few other things. and yes, youre correct, its the BEST way to learn!

Ok, so the sentence is "If I gave you my hand would you take it and make me the happiest man in the world." My suggestion would be (in ASL gloss) SUPPOSE MY HAND OFFER YOU-TAKE WOW HAPPEN WORLD MEN ALL-OVER ME HAPPY TOP WILL or HAPPEN MY HAND OFFER YOU-TAKE ME FEEL HEART-UPLIFT WOW.Those suggestions are if you are signing the literal meaning, not him asking her to marry him or another possible interpretation of that sentence.Signing a song in ASL takes time, practice, and careful consideration.

Hey, there! Terrific job with a challenging song to render in ASL! I've been kicking around ideas for this one and it's just a translation nightmare. Such a cute song, though! Quick suggestion: there are a couple of places where you could switch the lines (hold on to me tighter/summer sun got higher, walk ever closer/'til the trip was over) to possibly make it clearer/put the question closer to the end of the phrase.
