scene:definition:-the look is a mixture of goth and emo colors to create an image of colorful, yet a dark apperence; also not harming themselves in any way at all.

emo:definition:-the is mostly dark, and also mostly long sleeved shirts to cover up and scars they may be hiding if they are harming themselves such as cutting(emo) or burning(pyro).

So as you can see they are two very different meanings, the looks are just simalar. :)
