The government relies on us to be lawful citizens who obey whatever insanity they create. They end up making insanity much faster than we can combat in lawful ways. But to fight in unlawful ways, would create it's own kind of insanity. It seems there is no way to win.
It's not that crazy to think there might be another Civil War. Remember that people's basic emotions have not changed in the last few centuries, when they are cold and hungry they will fight. People will turn to their religion's and that will divide us more, then further division through the socialists vs those that want to restore the Republic

Dr. Paul is great to point out that responsibility lies with CONGRESS- that inept group of bunglers looking for ways to 'appear' relevant when in fact they are useless cowards.
Dr. Paul may appear to let Bernanke off the hook- he doesn't ask him any questions preferring to use his time to lecture. But it's just another way Dr. Paul is showing us that these hearings are fruitless and his time is best spent spreading the message rather than grilling Ben for accountability- because he has none.

1. Glorification of mediocrity.
2. Choice of base and ignorant rulers.
3. Failure to recognize the basic facts of social evolution.
4. Danger of universal suffrage in the hands of uneducated and indolent majorities.
5. Slavery to public opinion; the majority is not always right.

I see one future:
(1) the government makes everyone angry
(2) an 8 sided revolution divides us into multiple zones.
(3) Aunty Entity AND Master BLaster rule the world until:
(4) Mad Max kicks their BE hinds
(5) the song: "We don't need another hero" takes us all home. (whereever that is)
I'm not as sure of 3 thru 5.
