MGS on the playstation earned the spot as my favorite game to date recently after completing it. Now that the HD collection is out Im prepared my mind to be blown once again. Kojima your a frikin genius.

Desmond and Raiden both suck imo. Those two characters ruined their game that they stared in just by showing up. Shao Jun looks kind of promising.

it is impossible to play as shao jun coz desmond isnt asian. except he has asian bloodline. probably the next MGS game, we'll play as Johnny XD

Just because Desmond is a main character doesn't make him any good. His story is stupid and gets in the way of every AC game. It is hinted that Shao Jun will be the new main character especially if you watched Embers. I would much rather have an MGS game where you get to play as The Boss or another MGS game that played like 4. Maybe a remake of the first two Metal Gears? Either way I would have any of those over Revengeance. Rising actually looked interesting.

especially if they totally re-do it with fox engine, and voice acting and gameplay.

and for AC, i just hope that it will not be raped and transformed like MGR: Revengeance and DmC.

I would prefer a remake of MG1 and MG2 over Revengeance. I would prefer MGS Rising. A remake of MG1 and 2 with MGS4's gameplay, MGS3's boss fights, and Peace Walker's content would make it the best MGS yet. I think AC would be ruined if they continue to make more games after AC3. I've enjoyed all of the AC games so far except for Bloodlines. I want AC3 to be the last game. DmC looks awful and it looks really slow paced for a DMC game. It could possibly be a next gen DMC2. Oh god no...

@civilwarfare101 yeah. it will be awesome. and it is still possible to play the real MGS Rising since kojima stated that he would make 2 Rising-like games. and for the reboot, well i think i'll give DmC a chance, coz the gameplay looks slow paced sometimes but still looks cool (demo player usually sucks). i like the spinning-gunblazing-jump move and it still has the iconic moves of dante like rainstorm and drive etc and we still didnt know the story yet.

and yeah i think AC3 will be the final AC

@civilwarfare101 The original game was cancelled because KojiPro couldnt figure out how to turn the "cut everything at free will" mechanic into an actual game so it was stuck on development hell for 2 years. The original Rising was a train wreck. Kojima asked Platinum Games to develop the game for them seeing as Platinum are practically gods when it comes to action games. Personally I wouldve wanted Platinum to make a Shinobi game instead but Im okay with this.
