@wjcolella Those commercials are legendary indeed! The news reader (whoever that was) also read the commercials if they fell at certain points of the Charlie Greer show (which on WABC ran from Midnight-6:00 AM Mon-Fri and Midnight-5:00 AM Saturdays).
Dennison's actually opened a second location in Manhattan on 57th Street and 8th Avenue I believe around 1969, and remained a main sponsor of WABC's overnight show well after Charlie left and Jay Reynolds took over full-time in early 1970.
