Does anyone know if the ATV's solar panels can augment the space station's electrical needs? Or are they strictly for powering the ATV?

I heard that the ATV remain in dormant mode when docked... there might be some possibility that it could provide augmentation to the station's powers.

28 000 km/h ---> 7.7 km/s ----> 4.18 miles/s

then the approach with ISS is made is about 7 cm / s----> 2.75 inchees/s for docking on ISS
