I do not agree that she should have her paci taken away because the parents felt she was "old enough." When she was ready to let go she would have with time. If her paci was her security there is nothing wrong with letting her keep it. She would eventually get to the stage where she would let it go, but to have it taken from her, I have to wonder if she is angry at Heaven now because Heaven took away her paci. =/

my parents told me the dishwasher ate my pacifier when i was about 2 years old.. Right before i started crying, my big bro came to the rescue saying "KATY! you're a big girl now!" so i was okay but i had a fear of the dishwasher for a while..

I do not agree that she should have her paci taken away because the parents felt she was "old enough." When she was ready to let go she would have with time. If her paci was her security there is nothing wrong with letting her keep it. She would eventually get to the stage where she would let it go, but to have it taken from her, I have to wonder if she is angry at Heaven now because Heaven took away her paci. =/

hi, im angie thompson's sister,
my parents told me the dishwasher ate my pacifier when i was about 2 years old.. Right before i started crying, my big bro came to the rescue saying "KATY! you're a big girl now!" so i was okay but i had a fear of the dishwasher for a while..

Sooo cute baby Ava. It's a little harsh but at a really young age she will know how to give importance to the little things and will know how to cope from sadness of letting go of something important to her at the time.
