You have removed the necessary ambiguity that this piece requires. It is quite evident in your choices, that you have taken a side (which contradicts the author intentions) as John can't seem to keep his hands off of Carol (also not in the script). If this was your intention, then you have accomplished that. But there is much more to this play.
@tylerbrooks - I agree. In my opinion, there is certainly an undercurrent in their debate but Carol has no physical evidence that he is acting inappropriately- until the shoulder touching.
I think there has to be a tension between the two.

He wrote it based on the Thomson Hill case where there was evidence from either party and, depending on what you believed in, the sexual harassment does or does not occur. So you can play it any way you like, whether he commits a crime in the first place or whether he waits until she's accused him of it and then belts her up, it all works very effectively.
