  • Portia di Rossi talks about this too. She said it was difficult to go back and forth between American and Australian accent to where she felt like she was putting on one or the other.

You just end up talking like the people you're around. When I left my country I had an incredibly strong accent but now I've lived in America and Spain for the past 10 years and I basically have a non-regional american dialect now. sucks but when I go home I pick up the old accent a bit again.

  • WTF is this accent.

  • Have a look at her Telegraph interview from 2008. Has her aussie accent.

And here we are 12 months later, and she talking like an American??????

Sad that she thinks that she has to do this.

  • @whipthedog accents adapt depending on where you are. some people aren't affected by it but obviously she was. if she was trying to talk like an american then her accent wouldn't slip through.

  • @whipthedog my nieces and nephews went to new zealand last year for a month and they came back with absolutely no birmingham accent! They didn't even have a slight australian/nz accent. I worked in worcester and within 3 months I had a slight worcester accent. Tammin was immersed in the US and therefore she gained the accent just as quickly. You imitate the people around you, its human nature. To say its sad that she has to do this is to say say she is not human.

  • they seem kinda distant haha... Nolan is putting his arm close, but shes more on the opposite end... she keeps her hands to herself haha

  • why does it seem like she is trying to hide her accent in this? like she's just trying to sound american

  • LOL still talking like a yank? What a dumb cunt.

  • Tammin is great. Tammin is on pretty little liars and her imdb reports other projects. WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is getting work!!!!!

  • Tsk Tsk Tammin..... she even says 'Australia' the American way, you'd think she would remember how to say Australia!

  • why the hell is she speaking like that? in home and away she never had the accent

  • @zoeisobel unless you have spent your time immersed in another country for months at a time you have no idea what that does to your accent. Your comment is baseless in fact or foundation.

  • She's South African, grew up in Australia and works in America, of course her accent will be a mix of all these different accents.

  • I think she should make an attempt to speak in an Australian accent for press ,but I do understand she needs it for work, but because I've watch her on Australian Tv i just feel like her American accent sounds really fake and not very good.

  • @Merrylikechristmas yeah thats what i think, it's odd hearing her like that

  • id love to get down and dirty with tammin she has the most kissable lips

  • She looks thin in this vid.

    <3 her!

  • I'm not expecting much to come of her. She's 27 already. Give her a couple more years and she'll be forgotten.

  • @boo2ubam HA! She's proved you wrong! Hannah Montana and now Pretty Little Liars. 27 isn't much in Hollywood, most stars are in their 30s- J. Aniston, Jolie....almost all.

  • @katiegracemiloo wtf are you on about?

  • @boo2ubam YOU said "I'm not expecting much to come of her. She's 27 already. Give her a couple more years and she'll be forgotten."

  • @katiegracemiloo 11 months ago - it has been forgotten. I do not care. My opinion. Not yours. Fuck off. Do not contact me again. I will not respond.

  • @boo2ubam 11 months ago or not, you still wrote it and you were wrong. I'll reply to any stupid comments you put on the internet. My opinion. Not yours. ;) troll.

  • Why is she putting on an American accent? She's Australian.

  • Her Aussie accent slips in occasionally. Love this lady!

  • @threestarproductions She's lived in America since 2003. Seven years is a long time, her accent has changed. If I ever moved to another country I'd make every Sunday my 'accent day' where I speak in a thick Aussie Accent so I won't loose it. :D

  • @boo2ubam I moved to the states after high school. I've been here for 6 years, and my accent hasn't changed at all. Unless you're actively trying to lose it, i think the chances that your accent will change at that age are rather slim. I know people who have been here for over 30 years and still don't have an American accent.

  • Me 2

  • They are really cool... I like them. :) it would be great a sequel of spectacular!
