I was lulled a little bit by the sound of Revenger, but when I heard Guardian Angel, I was like "whoa, this is what I'm talking about".

Problem is, both themes have a feel and tempo contrary to their names. If they switched them around, it'd be perfect.

It should be the other way around when it comes to the mechs (I think) Touya seems more of the "I'm an unexpirenced real robot pilot", while Calvina is the "I'm gonna kick your ass with the super robots!!!" But this is just one guy's opinion.

When you put it that way, I myself would've liked Touya to be the kickass "Time for revenge" type. So he'd roar with all his attacks and be a loner instead of being the tenchi in harem of girls. Though that wasn't really a bad thing, lol.:D

That wouldn't fit with Japanese anime cliches. Touya is more angsty and emo than Kira and Akito combined. Even though he does get better, it's because the Orgone Extractor drills manliness into his subconsciousness against his will every time he pilots.

Calvina was better when I didn't know she was a raging hysterical yandere psychopath.

If you listen to Revenger hard enough, and have a bit of imagination, one could actually begin to imagine the song to be sang with the vocals in it ^^ that's prolly the reason why I like it a lot ^^

That's the case for a lot of original themes, as it kinda lets you imagine that the main original plot is it's own anime. It's a nice effect, I think. Fate and Revenger are kinda tragic and serious in my opinion, which really works with the sorta dramatic and space opera-ey Fury plot.
