  • I was living in a Hotel opposite of the La Cave in Ulm, working at "Horten" and hanging out with the guys of Wiley. I Remember Eric Crosby from Elyria?, Ohio.

    Was about 1985/1986. I still have his jackett hanging here.

  • 1/81 FA, C Battery 1981-1984. I was a P1A 21G "PTS" operator and have vivid, fond memories of Neu-Ulm / Ulm... "La Cave" and "Tengende" clubs... the "Fussganger" and the many wonderful German people. Yes... it was COLD especailly in the field and at CAS site! Remember "The Claxon" The PTS, SLA, ARU, BCC... GAA for daily maintenance... the insane cable maintenance. Remember CWO Mr. Thompson and Mr. Falls... the TRAGIC field exercise in 11/1982 where a 656 lost air pressure for brakes... the demos

  • How much time was needed to emplace and get the Pershing missile ready for firing? Could the missile also carry a conventional warhead or just a nuclear warhead? How fast its TEL was? And how many types of TELs it had? From I I knew, its TEL was based on the M113 chassis, but in here, it shows a totally different vehicle. Thanks.
