I have a question about leadwerks. can you create the models in leadwerks or do you have to create them in another program and import them into leadwerks
@dave649789 Sorry Dave but there is no playable demo available yet, I'm still working on the engine design. But there will be eventually. I'm aiming for an initial hours worth of gameplay for the first playable demo to try and raise interest in the game.
That's a difficult one to call as it really depends on your expected market place and your own particular preferences. I prefer the graphical end results from Leadwerks but it requires higher end hardware. I also like the extremely well structured API of Leadwerks and the ability to use a range of languages. However, Unity is changing rapidly so I guess you need to assess these things for yourself.
thank you!... well how long did it take for you to make this? over an year or so?, I'm finding an game engine to buy from the following, Torgue, Unity3D pro, and leadwerks... I think I'¨ll buy Leadwerks
yeah, I've been playing around with Leadwerks for about a year and a half now but developing my own tools like my Editor along side my engine. Leadwerks may not have the same degree of tools that Torque, Unity3D or UDK have but it's a really nice engine to work with if you're prepared to put the work in on the programming side. Good luck with whatever route you take.
Thanks Chris. I don't currently have a web site set up for the game but you can follow my progress on my dev blog (see my profile for the link) or just catch the vids as I post them here.
Progress is a little slow as I'm an amateur game developer and only able to develop in my spare time

@CamCon586 No, models have to be imported. Leadwerks has no modelling capability.
