@henrike286 Oh yes, Boozle is a great little singer. Alot of the Amazon Yellow Napes are but she sings what she likes and leaves out words that she can say and sometimes makes up her on verses....haha

I love that song and I LOVE Boozle! THE PERFECT PAIR! :) I have 16 birds... And two parrots! I have a Blue Crowned Conure and a Senegal parrot! They wont sing! they're so very loud though! Thank you for posting boozles videos! He is adorable :)

@ox387 THanks! Please do your homework before getting a parrot. They are like having 2-3 year old children . They live a long time so be sure you are ready to commit to these terms before getting one. They learn to mimic things they hear but I take a song and start with one stanza and sing it to her over and over until she learns it pretty good then I add sing the first stanza and add the next stanza until she has that down pretty good. @seabeanie Thanks for posting these vids all my friends on facebook get a good laugh by how neat these birds really are. i did TONS of research on them and honestly i think i could take care of one but right now im not going to get one because i have alot going on and i wouldnt want to put other things first and neglegt it. so ill just stick to watchin other peoples vids until im ready for somethin like this. it a huge responsability. thanks for the comment .

I'm sorry about Angelbird...I already had a 'keet escape out the door a couple of years ago...I didn't think Phoenix Landing would ever let me have another bird if they knew, but it's happened to good bird parents. Did your Boozle come from Phoenix Landing or some other bird rescue? I'm so glad she's in a good home where she clearly enjoys herself. :)

No, I bought Boozle when she was 4 months old. I have a re-homed 7 year old African Grey named ChaCha It's been a year now and he is finally coming around. He is a very cautious fellow. Yes, accidents happen to the best of us, no matter how careful we think we are or trying to be!

Thank you....that was Angelbird, a cockatiel that is no longer with us. He flew out the door one day and a hawk flew down and captured him right in front of my eyes! Broke my heart! I had gone to get the mail and the door didn't close all the way and came open before I got back in and he took his chance to fly.....poor baby. Please be careful with your parakeets...

It's hard to say. I teach her in segments but generally it's not all that long. They are very smart birds and if they like a song they will listen very intently to it. I think she she can sing more of songs because of my teachin her this way... but who knows, I am not a professional, just love my bird!

Amazon Yellow Napes are noted for their singing ability where Greys are noted for the great talking and sound abilities. Not to say Greys don't sing, I think birds are alot like people....they have diffent personalities as day and night! I just lucked up on a very smart singing one!LOL
