This is a very useful desirable product .

I can use it with cubase as a proper durable vst mixer with midi mapping & also use it for djing.

can you please clarify a few things?

Does it have 4 single audio outputs so you could record as a multitrack & can you route the mic inputs as a separate audio output ?

Does the eq have a push on / off kill function?

can you adjust the jog wheel sensitivity & stiffness?

will it have optional face plates.

I am about to buy an American Audio SDJ2 because i want a small powerful hardware mixer solution but if American or any other manufacturers are reading these comments maybe you could consider the same type of unit but with ability to hook up to computer to run traktor etc... I want a unit that can run off memory cards primarily without risk of laptop crashing live. this VMS4 would be perfect if it had SD card slots and display..for live... and then home use with PC.. please make a unit with both

It all looks and sounds good, but im not sure about American Audio's built quality! Especially the platters! But for the price you cant complain!

I would go with VCI-300 + VFX1 or even better, with Xone:DX!
