  • Great tour

  • Cinderella did it better. these guys blow.

  • Ahh.. The memories.. Saw this tour in 89' Denver Colorado. Thanks for the post !

  • Holy crap, I saw this tour. Kix, Britny Fox, Ratt

  • @killbillyize actually old punk bands are pretty good like the ramones

  • how do you sing like that?

  • Exactly! why can't music be fun as well? Life is already depressing. If U want a good time,Go to a hair metal concert. MTV turned its back on these bands for the 90's scene. The 90's had a FEW good bands. But the 80's is always getting requests from people who used ti think it was uncool.

  • I was actually at this concert in Pittsburgh. They opened for Ratt. Kixx was also on the bill. It was a good show from what I can remember.

  • Are they?

  • opening for RATT !

  • i cant figure out how to sing like him. that growl that he and tom keifer has is amazing anybody have any tips?

  • Don't ...They both ruined their voices doing it.

  • no they didnt,,,i happen to know BOTH of them,personal......they are both still singing...tommy sounds great,,i was with them in A.C New Jersey...he didnt miss a beat...as far as dizzy dean davidson,,,he is doing a solo project....My brother dated deans sister for a while...My brothers old band was heavens edge,he is the bass player....i have know these guys since i was 12.....there voice ,,you cannot fake...you have that type of voice or you dont...you cant learn to sing like this....

  • Heavens Edge Rocks man! Tell your Bro I said thanks for that album! Skin to Skin and Find Another Way are too monumental heavy metal songs that too many people missed! I actually love the whole album but I know those are their most popular! I had to pay like $40.00 for the CD to get those songs into my iTunes library but it was well worth it!!

  • drink plenty of gasoline and then sing!!!

  • @motleydrue666 you have to have a rough voice and strain it but to be honest when you get older you will blow your voice and you wont sound like it trust me you can sound like him just try and listen to the cd version and practice dean used to sing in the key of a and d and g and b learn to sing in them keys also his voice might sound good in a key yours might sound better in another hope this helps

  • Great FUCKING performance!!!

A very underrated band from the 80's. Seeing them live is a testament to how good a band really is and these guys prove they are an amazing band.

I miss music like this...It just rocks!!!

  • 80's glam music was the best you find! Wether you call it metal\hardrock, hairmetal... alot of these bands were extremly talented and were more under pressure than any other music form at the time. Unfortunate that sad and depressing music like grunge had to take over. But Thankfully This sound is on its way back!!

  • it wasn't grunge it was MTV , and yeah , MTV MADE THAT fashion called GRUNGE and all this shit about top 10 and this crap!! Now you know what's music now a days!! NO MORE PARTY SEX DRUGS N ROCK N ROLL, NOW IT IS AIDS, LSD AND TECNO

  • Rock died after the 90's

  • but i think it is coming back

  • you tube is getting the younger generation excited about these bands

  • CHILDREN, PLEASE !!!! This here is what's known as FUN !! Plain & simple. What say we just leave it at that? Don't try to put too fine a point on it.

  • Come on, Steve!...your commment is not mature. If you wish to present a valid point or argument, then do so intelligently without minimizing Britny Fox's musical efforts. Clearly, our opinions vary in perspective as to what is Metal and is not metal, and is probably bias to say the least. I personally cannot deny the fact that many bands have contributed to the Metal world, even Britny Fox.

  • I actually CALLED Mr. Kushner when Johnny Dee quit using Pearl Drums...I was a KID and he took the time to explain to me why Dee quit using em. I've interacted with many people in the "business" since...But Kushner still ranks as my #1!

  • Three cords, hairspray. can it get any better

  • Saw these guys back in 88 with Poison headlining. It was my first concert.

  • Fuckin' A....Brinty Fox was so under-rated in this genre of metal....\m/ Thanks for posting this live clip.

  • Steve...Metal comes in many genres. Perhaps the better catagory for Britny Fox would be Glam Metal or Hair Metal. And you are true in calling Metallica metal. The \m/, isn't just for Metallica. Metallica, unfortunately, have softened somewhat since the days of "Kill em All," "Master of Puppets," etc, when bands like Overkill, Testament, Slayer, and others continue putting out Heavy music and projects. In any event, I only wished to give credit to Britny Fox, as I do for Metallica.

  • mm fair point. metallica sold out imo after master of puppets. but britny fox are pop rock. cock rock. wateva

  • uuuh Fuckin good

  • great singer...sounds like Tom Keifer!!!

  • but tom is better

  • BF played after Kix and before Ratt here

  • they were really great live, sounded like the studio record, are really tight. great musicians

  • When I was 15, I used to walk by this carwash going to highschool where Mike Schermick "Michael Smith" worked. I used to stop and talk to him and Bill Dixon. This was before Britny Fox. Him and Bill were frankly...just the kewlest dudes ever. Just, down to earth rockers with HAIR and the LOOKS! What a memory..

  • the back up vocals seem too good...especially in the end where they all sing into one mic. Awesome split in the beginning!

  • This is the song that launched Britny Fox to be the best!

  • I was at this concert.. this was at the civic arena!

  • actually they were very good live/in spite of the weak records they put out

  • Long way to Love made the billboard 100, i would consider that a hit

  • they sound good but they only have twohits and one was a remake of hair of the dog by nazereth

  • Actually Girlschool was the band's biggest single with Long Way To Love as second. Hair of the Dog was never a single. Second album singles were Dream On and Standing in The Shadows. The first album sold 500,000 copies in 9 weeks, very rare for a new unknown group. Britny was never a "hit singles" band, more of an album band.

  • well, there first album and tour were a huge-very big hit, because they were like cinderella ,who also were veryy huge at the time! so that got them far,but the sad thing is it went fats, there secend album really failed.one hit onders,no.but there album wus a his so there album wonders..there most famous for the look and the time, they were a glam band at the hight of the era!

  • @riseorfall07 Wrong. They had 6 singles, but only 3 charted. The ones that chartes were Girlschool,Long Way To Love, and Dream On.Save The Weak,Standing In The Shadows and Hair Of The Dog were also singles.

  • Jeezus it's been too long.. I think I might have seen this tour when it came through Cincy.

  • A band that actually sounds a lot like their ablum?! I didn't even know that was possible! Major props!

  • Yes imagine that a band actually playing and singing. Those were the days.

  • And this was before AutoTune! I never got to see BF live back in the day. I missed them, Crue, and AC/DC. Saw just about everyone else though... and I still might get to see AC/DC, and maybe Van Halen with DLR, if the rumors are true!!!

  • Awesome. Britny Fox. One of my favorite Rock bands of all time.
