  • orsam you must be a numan fan?

  • It sounds a lot darker than the original version, but I think that it fits it better.

  • good vid.you diong naymore numan songs?

  • thx....well i just made those covers that you can find on my channel...i had planned to record some more but my synth is broken since a year now......since then im stuck

  • u need to post those patches man ... they are DEAD ON ... nice job!!!

  • brilliant song

  • Great sound.

  • hell thats great

  • Man...Thats it!! Nice job.

  • I believe I just ejaculated. Excellent work. I didn't think those sound could come out of digital equipment. I've tried a hundred times to pull that sound off on my MS2000 and failed. Again nice work, both on the patching and playing.

  • yea deep dark and dirty! love it!

  • Oh this is SO my kind of sound-sends shivers up my spine!

Noone understands but i just love synth music, and thats damn good!

Must get decent PC speakers tho!

  • yeah thats true....i luv this synth sounds too...especially the early moog and arp synths

  • A great track of Numans.

    And well played.

    Coxynuma.66.

  • that sound good

  • Sounds bloody good!!.Is that your own patch created on your K-Station?.I've got to flick through the presets on mine but I don't remember hearing that kind of numanish polymoogy sounds on it.Unfinished but still great stuff.

  • thx....yes i made the patch on my own but i cant remember how ive done it exactly....just 2 osc's on square, the first one with pwm to the right and put it all through the flanger..somehow that way...just tweak around a bit maybe you'll find somthing simillar...cheers

  • Will you please finish this? I keep waiting to see the finished project and have been for months now....

  • ahh sorry man for keeping you waiting but my mixer is broken since a few months so i cant record...gonna buy a new one after christmas then ill finish the track.....cheers

  • Hi Friend, your obviously a big fan on NIN and GN and you have a good ear, well done. ps do you think i could replicate those deep synth sounds with fruity loops?

  • yo thx man....hm i never worked with fruity loops so im not sure if it works there....i made this deep synth with "reason".....its basicly just a monosynth with distortion and flanger.....just tweak around maybe u get a good result

  • Hey thanks friend, have gone and bought reason 4 which instrument/patch did u use?

  • ugh its been a while since ive done that patch....i used a malstroem with a square*4 on OSC1 and a usual square on OSC2, shaper with saturate around 60 and then both trough the included lowpass filter..finally a bit compressed and phased....thats actually all

  • that is so fuckin' cool!

  • Fantastic! Just bought a synth recently but don't have sounds like that on it. Can I ask what machines you are using to create this sound? Anth

  • thx a lot.... 4 this video i used the novation k-station synth and reason 3.0 on my computer

  • love this sound . look forword to the completed version.

  • great job and nice big synth sounds like the original.

  • cant wait for the finished product.any other numan titles on the horizon.

  • thx man...i will finish the track this weekend..i hope ^^....but it will be a cover of the original track by numan...the basement jaxx track just uses a small sample of m.e. the rest is completely different...cheers

  • You need to build a flux capacitor to get back to the 80's! anyway, well done for such a great replication of Numans synth's.

  • lol yeah would be great to go back to these days :D

    thanks 4 the comment...

  • Very good; it's like having Numan playing at home LOL...

  • :D LOL thank you but i'm not half as good as numan himself

  • Brilliant ear for replicating the original

  • thx kit i appreciate it.......

  • Wow, incredible. Well the sounds you have there are fantastic and i for one can't wait to hear your finished song. Keep up the great work mate, you really do seem to have a ear for the right Numan sounds, just a shame that Numan himself dosn't have it anymore, lol.........Take care and keep producing great stuff like this....bye for now.

  • Excellent! whats the synth called?

  • cheers for the comment...thank you =)

    the upper synths are a Novation K-Station & a Korg EA1..

    and below a stage piano

  • You say that the bottom keyboard is just a piano, but how does it make those incredible sounds if its just a piano?

  • i use it as midi controler to my computer

the sound comes from a software synth on my pc

  • Brilliant..... this is sounding great and I can't wait to hear the final version as you seem to have all the right sounds there and it looks like when finished you will make an awesome version of M.E.

  • thx a lot...i hope the final version will be a lot better.but i'm working still on the whole arangement
