Noooo...she is not suicidal. Well the way I see it is that the man she loved broke her heart and now she's left with this world that he left her in that turned into ruin and now no matter what he says it's his lie of a thing called "love" that's killing her. Thus the lyrics: "And I trust you to kill me with your love. Your words mean nothing at all."

That's how I see it anyway...maybe because I can relate so much it's not even funny. -.-

Singing for Yanni is both a blessing and a curse. It's like Opera in a way...there is a built in audience, and it does not get much advertisement unless you watch PBS. Too bad. This girl has one of, if not the best, voices I have ever heard.

the big difference is in the concerts it used to be about the whole orchestra with some musicians shining, but almost all got the same treatment and introduction, this concert with yanni voices, while good, was focused on the four singers rather than the entire band... He got way more of a reaction from the audience when he played some of his older stuff.

smooth jazz stations play mainly smooth jazz, but the word to pay attention to is SMOOTH. they play things like art of noise, anita baker, barry white, etc. though they are technically not jazz.

as long as it's laid back, unoffensive and people request it, then it's fair game. the music is still about 90% smooth jazz, new jazz though...
