Yes, another great song from BOM. I think they deserved even greater success than they had but the whole Abba-type pop song became increasingly unfashionable once the '80's kicked in - remember "One Of Us" (1981) was Abba's last Top 10. BOM started their decline around '80/'81 also.

@huvander Yes, and they're singing live - absolutely effortless. Say what you like about BOM - but their vocals and harmonies were spot on - and there's very few groups that can manage that!

@michaelleacy The song was perhaps not quite strong enough to be a big hit, but they do brilliantly with it, in fact vocally it sounds very much like 'Voulez Vous'-era Abba. 'Oh Boy' is their best track, a fantastic, very sophisticated melody, a moving lyrical story and superb vocal performance. As for this video, the only thing that spoils it is the gooning introduction from Mike Read, it's no wonder Radio One did away with this kind of embarrassing DJ!
