Every time I hear the original, I feel like I want to cry because this song means so much to me...but then again, I think that's universal for everyone :).

Only the most precious songs to me make me tear up or feel any emotion to it, and yours actually did that, since I can actually identify with the vocalist, in the sense that he is a gay man, which makes this more personal for me.
