I just think jokes that are intentionally esoteric are pretentious and not funny. I'm also a cartoonist myself and the artist side of me can't stand the stick figure artwork either. Dudes, I showed up at Utah for sex and a Ren Faire. Also: a nightclub bathroom, same nightclub roof, all girls dorm room, a co-ed dorm room, roofs of both dorms, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Bi-Mart, Grocery Outlet, Starbucks Coffee, Badass Coffee, movie theater, same movie theater but in a different screening room on the same night, and a lot of other places. And it WORKED! I'd skip the nursing home if I were you, but you might want to try out those places. Also it helps if you have someone to meet there.
