Or maybe this game will lead up to the origin of Metroid Prime. What if metroid prime was an infected metroid by an X-Parasite in Fusion mixed with phazon. And what if after defeating Metroid Prime in the first game, the core copied samus's abilities and made Dark Samus the "other m" that invaded the galaxy like said in The original Metroid. And somehow that girl might have something to do with all of this! Uggh I want this game so bad!

So like if this Samus clone gets Samus in trouble for some sort of crime she didn't commit, the black guy is probably out for revenge or something. Also, recently I was playing the original Metroid and I noticed that it said a message after beating the game "but the galaxy might be invaded by the other Metroid" so could this mean OTHER M or even M.O.M for having to do with mother brain, the last metroid or samus's mom?

I think the black guy could be that mysterious character in Fusion. During that cutscene near the end of the game, Adam finished giving samus and objective and this "????" charcater starts talking with Adam and asked if she was suspicious of anything. Maybe the girl at the end is some sort of Samus clone and is related to Adams death and she put Adams memory into a computer without Samus knowing.

1. Nintendo isn't making this game, it's only allowing Team Ninja to use the metroid universe for a game and tells them to put it on Wii.

2. The reason why Link doesn't speak is because Nintendo want the players to impersonate him.

To answer your questions. The woman with the short blonde hair is samus it is proven si because of her interaction with her mentor as seen in the video with the captains uniform. This game will feature parts of Aran's past and takes place between Super metroid and Metroid Fusion. Since the story is not complete nobody really knows who or what the "Other M" is but if you asj me it has to have something to do with the long blonde girl at the end who is described as "A very important character"

Dark Samus is not a metroid, but a spawnling of the queen metroid... when the queen metroid died, all of the phazon that was trapped inside the queen seeped out, and then, apparently, somehow, Samus's DNA fused with the phazon, (probably from the phazon suit) and thus the phazon obtained a conscience, a form, and a race of her own. I agree with Bowserrocks597 but now she is dead... hopefully, we may see her again

The director of metroid other m stated "the Other M story will take place between Super Metroid and the Fusion stories." and you don't fight meta ridley in super metroid and the reason to that may be: the space pirates are cloning ridley.
