@mintwithahole McGann's Doctor was only short-lived on the TV screen. There were plenty of novels around detailing the fate of Eight after the movie. Also, McGann still lends his voice to the eighth Doctor in numerous Big Finish Audio Dramas. So do Colin Baker, Peter Davison and Sylvester McCoy. While the Big Finish Audio Dramas aren't seen as canon by the BBC, they certainly are very entertaining. If you haven't already done so, you should give them a try. I recommend "The Kingmaker".Very funny

That is a bit unfair. That's like saying your hour long show isn't an hour it's only 42 minutes, the rest of the time is wasted with commercials, it takes you an hour to watch just the same. The clip is 45 seconds and it takes 45 second to watch. I thought the "look at the scanner" part was clever, it isn't wasted time because it's from Doctor Who.

I find that youtube, occasionally it truncates the last second or who of a video, so it was smart of MysteronAgent to leave a bit.

Well, if they were going to give each doctor screen-time proportional to how long he'd been on the air, Eight and Nine wouldn't show up but in a flicker, Six would barely get any time and Ten would still get the second-most considering that Tennant and Baker were the only two actors to ever play the Doctor for more than 4 years (excluding McAvoy returning to the role for the first 15 or so minutes of the made-for-tv movie, which actually gives 8 even LESS time).
