  • I LOVE YOU BILL. <3<3

  • yea Bill Withers was awesome in the 70's.He had some great songs from back then.Ain't No Sunshine

    Lean On Me

    Use Me

    this song

and just the two of us from 1981.

He should get more credit for his great voice and songs he made. This version is ok but prefer original from the 70's

  • im searching this beat ..but what is the title ?to download it??

  • amazing sound

  • No bueno .......the beat sucks

  • Good to find a video of Bill.

  • That guy can hold just one note for a long time

  • I'm expecting Will, Carlton, and Jazz to come dancing across the stage!

  • man this version sounds corny

  • I don't care if he's ass syncing..this song is great !!

  • where can i find this version on youtube. please!!!!!!!

  • he's totally lip syncing

  • i know, lets stick a shitty 80s beat onto a awesome 70s soul song... oh no wait, now it sounds shit, what a fucking surprise

  • this is a great tune, but it was released in 1977 and was top forty in 1978. if you were listening to it as a kid, it meant you had cool parents.

  • Anyone else look this up just to see the "Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay" bit?

  • It is the only live video of this song!

  • Cool version of the Lovely Day, yes-yes 80s were A LOT OF FUN and I am missing it SO MUCH! Gloomy 21c ... wanna be back in time to the 80s with all that stuff... no fun anymore, just total fuckup...............

  • I mixed this song with David Dundas' "Jeans On" :P

  • This is the biggest hunk of shit version of this song. Garbage!!!

  • Love Bill, Love this song, mics don't work that well.

  • he is deff lipping that shit!

  • You guys are talking as though you know Bill Withers like your own blood where else, you're just assuming and judging by his looks.

How do you know he's pissed by just looking at the video? Look at the rest of Bill's video, he looks the same here. The problem is, you're not supposed to look at the music but hear the music. Just enjoy the song man!

  • this is why he Bill left

  • Lovely song of a lovely singer

  • I liked this version. Its very rithmic. The women dancers are sexiest.

    What a another times!

  • I love this guy, but its sad to say that he was actually not even singing, he tried to sync his sound with the song.. look how far hes holding the mic.. c'mon u wont even hear him if hes holding it that far from his mouth..

  • Jeff & Jer theme song. I've listened 5 times already. I love it. Thanks,

  • I hated teh fact that they use to lyp synch on Soul Train...and this sounds lik eLovely day meets Sesame Street...

  • @Littlewater Actually, this was normal for many performances back in the 60's- 80's before all the fake crap, like Auto Tune, that non singers used today. Back then when an Artist went on AB, Soul Train, Top of the Pops, or other venues like this, unless they could bring their bands and set up, they had to lip synch to their own music. Once in awhile Soul Train or some of the other venues mentioned, would allow the artist to actually set their band up, but in most cases,,,, cont,

  • @Littlewater cont, most cases it was such a brief performance it was not worth the time or money to bring your band and set up. They were just dance shows, which had Dj's and played from records, 8 tracks, etc. I guess you would have to have been from that genre to know how entertainment really went down. Also, Artist showed their true feelings when they went on stage, no fakeness as today. If they were not happy about something backstage, or that day, their face showed it. But the show went on

  • Rip the audio from this track at soundnabber doht cohm.

  • Of course hes pissed.

    Look where he's at.

  • wonderful song, horrible production (but then again we all did this kind of thing back then and dosent take away from the amazing original)

  • Despite it all, this has always been one of the most uplifting and encouraging songs ever made! Bill, if you read this, thanks for such wonderful music!

  • Comment removed

  • i know why he looks pissed. its playback!

  • One of the most underrated artists!

  • Dang, I'm convinced it's possible to ruin perfection

  • This is a horrible version of the song. Those 2 women in the back can't even dance, why aren't there 3 of them? What is up with these camera angles showing his back? His outfit? There isn't a better video of him performing this song? On top of that he looks pissed.

  • @DanielSchmidt94521 give em a break it was the 80s looks like they were doin the wop!!!

  • Sing it Bill! This brings me back to growin' up in the 80's--such a positive song :D

  • @curlygrl31

    agree.

  • Bill does`nt looks very happy!

  • @granadanils He probably hated having to perform a crappy remix for a nearly perfect song... and he's mad they gave him one of Al Jarreau's old polo shirts to wear.

  • thanks

  • I LOVE You DADDY

    Eileen

  • @1Pinkful You're not Todd or Kori so you shouldn't be calling him "Daddy"!

  • @JazzPurist you really need to leave it alone.
