He has a WONDERFUL voice, and it's a fun playful vocalise! Too bad people are ragging on him. What makes the video a tad strange is that he likely recorded that track in advance, and is just miming along, or at least marking (which means singing lightly) for the vid; during that era they didn't think the effort of singing looked good on film so they did it a lot. In reality, it just makes people look weird.
