All I have to say is each gun has its strengths. FAMAS is dead accurate but lacks in power compaired to the AK-47 its all about how you play. In my opinion every gun is good you just have to know how to use it and its strengths. Just so happens the FAMAS is easier to master than say the scorpion. Its all about preferace. For me I go through phases in which gun I use. Dont get mad at people of using it just be more careful if you know they use it and have it. Adapt to the situation for each game.

i think one of the reasons the FAMAS is so popular (or at least the reason I like it) is coming over from Halo 3 its a gun that is comparable to the Battle Rifle and its is a really good gun thats why I choose it
