My highest chains were 26 and 27 but stupid breaks.. I usually make it to 15 and they break easy

@xskullxkissesx Yes, they do. If they didn't, people wouldn't be getting shiny third evolutions without AR if they can't be found anywhere.

shiny Gastly's awesome and shiny Gengar's just plain...I'm gonna try hatching a shiny Gastly with my english Gengar and Japan Spiritomb, I think that works for Masuda Method since they're both in the same breeding group

Gastly is one of the three shinies I've encountered in my entire pokemon career. Rattatta and Zubat are the others.

cool in hg i was in a bug catching contest and i had a blaziken lv. 36 or soemthing and i find a shiny NINCADA. then, i have extra space in meh party, and a pokeball, and POOF! i have shiny ninjask AND shedinja. and the nincada almost killed me wit fury swipes.

i got a shiny gastly in the chateu, then the rotom i caught had pokerus!

so now I have a shiny gastly with pokerus!!

After years and years of playing Pokemon, I got a shiny Gastly in the Old Chateau in Platinum. My first legit, non-Gyarados shiny (I got two hacked ones off the GTS).

I got a Rattata on Soul Silver, a Golbat on Ruby, and the rest of my shinies from trades.

I only seem to catch shinies on accident when training my pokemon so keep trying. (Currently looking for shiny Gastly in Old Chateau and failing)

I know. I got one by pure luck in Leaf Green. It was actually the only shiny I ever found in the game. Then I evolved it into Gengar and you can't even tell it's a shiny anymore because it's almost the same.
