i have had columbain sharks in freshwater brackish water and saltwater they do best in salt water i dont no why every one things there brackish - or fresh
Few questions mate, are your sharks and pangasius always that active? also 12 secs in you do a close up on 1 of your fish... what fish is it? Cheers mate
I can see you're very knowledgable on the topic of large fish. I just purchased a 40 gallon breeder. I was wondering if you would know what fish(preferably sharks, catfish, eels, and oscars) but I'm still not sure what would go good together in this tank. Also, the quantity of each specific fish would be appreciated. Thanks man.
nice tank your fish have beautiful colors and seem happy.Did you know those columbians are brackish. You should add at least10 table spoons of salt. The columbians can actually get skin disease without salt, and the other freshwater fish can handle small amounts of salt.
i use to have a common goldfish (not the twin-tail type)but it died because it was sick and its sickness spreaded to all the other fish including 5 twin-tailed goldfish except 1 angel fish and 1 yellow goldfish which survived the sickness.
I would hate to have to special order them.... i have several of these and i don't see a reason to not be able to go down and buy them at the pet store
I want to buy sharks (2 or something), but i am new to having sharks, with sharks do oyu recomend that will not grow very big, like 20cm or 30 cm. and how big a tank would i need ?
And can you make your fish tank out of Plestic glass :P ?
Well, all of these fish are bottom fish. You need a lot of surface area. You'll have nothing to fill the middle or upper part of your tank unless you buy tall plants. I suggest starting with a 55 gallon and eventually a 125+ gallon aquarium. They'll grow big!
im findin it hard 2 find a tank which holds over 60 gallons without spending to much do u have any suggestions of fish i could keep in a tank of that size which are smilar 2 the fish i sent 2 before
For someone who claim to know fish you know fuck all. For that list you would need say 400-600 gallons preferably more. Shovel nose and red tail will both get around 3.
Then there is the fact bamboo sharks are real sharks and need proper saltwater.
Absolutely, but I must warn you of their aggression. They pick the fish they don't like (no matter the size). My Leporinus picked their spot in the tank and became very territorial (fin-nippers).
Nice tank mate, the striped fish a nang. Where did u get those palm trees from they look SIIIIK. Du u live in london cos i wanna get some for my tank.
Actually, they are a thorn in my side. I recently gave them to a friend. I knew what I was getting into but I took the chance. They are quite the fin nippers!

i agree the ID shark alone will get up to 3 feet. and the shadowfins get 12 inches or so, but people put them in tiny tanks.

You have a million options. Start with what you like most...then find compatible ones.
