No. Stats were totally messed with. Even if you f***** the RNG goddess, there's no way Lyn even comes close to maxing DEF, STR, or RES.

As far as I know, in FE7, you cannot buy Dragonshields, and that I've only ever found 2 or 3. Let's say that there are four. According to FEWiki, her average def stat for a 20/20 BL is 12. Do the math. With a 20% growth rate (the smallest of any melee unit, ever), even Matthew, the thief has a 25% growth.

I have a feeling the stats were padded or something... Since I saw a level 24 Eliwood, lol... And Lyn's not bad if you either RNG abuse or get lucky with the RNG goddess. A high strength Lyn that's just as agile and dodgey as a normal Lyn is a force to be reckoned with... Though not nearly as pwnage as Hector always is :P.

It's a pretty common known fact that Hector is the strongest of all lords, and Eliwood the weakest. A battle between Lynn and Hector could be a draw because of Lynn's high speed. But Eliwood stronger then Lynn? Revise their training big bro, maybe if Lynn's lvl 10 yeah.

well yes, it would be a draw, but lyn wold need mani katti or regal blade because of hector's uber defense (he's weak to mani katti) and if lyn gets hit by hector... ouch. but i'm not dissing lyn in any way, she's one of my fave lords in the FE games. ive only played 7, 8, and 11 though

Ehhh, yah you make a good point Sevault, there was a lot of Post-Game replay value, but the thing is that Fire Emblem is known for its story mode, and then having multiple endings depending on your supports and who lives. I think it would have been better if you weren't allowed to go to Tower or Ruins till after you beat the game.
