@explorer45 if it was symbolic of anything I'd say it was some sort of homage to her reptilian masters or just one of those standard music vid sub lims letting you know who's running the show.

First time I heard this, was on a classic "I made this tape for you" by then completely in love and finally with someone that loved me as me - 28 years on, since I first heard it - still makes me shiver with joy, at the thought of the journeys home from Mansfield. Knowing my future was going to love filled. Thanks Cheryl.
The early eighties were shit for jobs (I was out of work for all of 1981) but after that till 1989 it was all gravy. The music of the eighties was the best, it will never be beat.
PALE SHELTER=$=SSNAKE REPTILE:(????WAKE-UP=)LUV IS THE ONLY WAY OUT2012-2013..............WE LUV AND MISS 80DECADANCE MUSIC IS FOREVER AND EVER= TEARS FOR FEARS RULES ENJOY
oh trust you would have loved it. everybody was on the same fuckin page in some cool way and all the music was great. I call it still to this day "The Golden Era"
I lived in the 80's, and I also had the luck to see Italy, Antognoni and Graziani (fantastic players of Fiorentina, my soccer team) winning World Cup of Soccer! :-)
@TheBlueRoseKira don't be, the 80's was a decade of fear, aids, nuclear holocaust, fucking thatcher and reagan, I hated it, now things are much more interesting, the information flows freely, people are way smarter, you get that corporate mainstream music that sucks balls, but there's still an emerging music scene, you just got to dig a little, it's all there, just look it up like you did for that video
@quaxk I disagree completely. I was in highs chool in the early 80's and it was awesome. Music was real, evolving, information was not propaganda like it is today - and people were starting to accept each other for who they were and not hopping everybody else's train. The scenes were fun, music was amazing (never been equaled) and despite AIDS (which ruined a lot) you could still believe in the future and people to be real. Now everything sucks, is plastic, and our worst fears realized.
@Nexus2Eden Well done bud that clown never experienced the eighties if he prefers now to then and as for his arguments about AIDS and nuclear holocaust these threats are still as real today as they were then it's just the players who are different unless someone has cured AIDS and we just have'nt been told about it , sounds like quaxk had two 70's and moved straight into the 90's I feel sorry for him,
@Nexus2Eden that's the picture I got from the 80s, and I mean people connected somehow better that era than this era. But that's me talking a 90s kid you know :)
Peace and love to everyone doesn't matter where you from what race you are and in my opinion there is no yellow blacks white greens blue its just one race and that race my friends is the human race! take care :)
The 80's were much more political, people were watching and listening to everything, now the big mass is completely dull from all the stupid movies and TV shows. The enormous quantity of information makes the people not smarter, it confuses them. I agree there is still some good music out there. But it doesn't have the feeling of the 70's and 80's pop and rock classics. No way. This time was unique. And I will tell that to every younger person to keep the spirit alive.
@manco82 In those times being weird was ‘normal’; everyone could express himself as he felt and that is why many people look so strange for today, viva the 80’s! Best times for introspection, innovation and lyrics. Maybe being weird nowadays makes no sense… But, who’s normal after all??
@plonsdrums Well if the music from the 80ties are nothing more than absurb hairdo's why are you here watching pale shelter in the first place. It's just fluff to you.
.................finally, I can watch them live for the first time, Tears for Fears will have a concert in Manila on May 02, 2010,..................just like I've watched Gene Loves Jezebel live here at Manila (Nov. 2008)
@mbphlover Musically it was a very interesting time and looking back I seemed to be into a lot of different stuff all at the same time: Bowie, the electro bands; the New Romantics; early U2; Goth esp The Cult; the last hurrah of Punk-The Stranglers and whatever Dexys were.
Whoa Curt. Keep your shirt on. Oh, good, you did. Nice rat tail. Great song, best tears for fears song ever. I can't stop listening to it. One of my all time favorite songs. Top 10 definitely. How's that woman flying through the air, over his head in the beginning. It's like she saw the Gator and jumped straight up 30 feet.
