How would I allow it to output to a variable instead of an object? Or is that not possible without, in the final program, outputting to the object, then setting the variable equal to that object's value?

For example, I would like to do this:

Variable = dllfunction.function1(values)

Or something of that sort. Thanks :)

same principle but you do a few more things:

function "name" (byval "name" as "type") as "datatype"

Code to exercute to return a value

then you use the "return" command to return the output to the function.

End Function

thank you, this is very useful. one thing that it could be used for is add-ons for programs, like changing the buttons style and such, so you just have links to download the .dll's on ur website.
