  • thanks this helps to refresh me for my airbrakes course

  • "Defective"

  • Quite probably the most annoying woman on this earth, definitely "defective".

  • thanks!

  • Thank you, very informative for a student.

  • does anyone know a school bus test video for New Jersey motor video

  • THANK YOU!!

  • Thank you very much for this upload! This helped me understand more and more on the air brake system it's self! I'd like to come to school for you guys. Whats the best way to enroll?

  • these do not have automatic slack adjusters is that why you messured it ?

  • @dpg679 you have to messure the push rod stroke no matter what. whether it has auto slack adjusters or not.

  • We do it a bit different here in Ga.

  • I hate to inform this young Gal but she would have failed the air brake portion of the test. You do not have the vehicle running while your performing your air brake test except test number 4 the air govenor cut-out.......didn't watch anymore but she automatic failed

  • @kirk42011 how do you figure? the vehicle has to be running for the compressor to work. which means for your build up time, gov cut-in and cut-out the vehicle has to be running. she actually would have passed. hate to inform you.

  • that school is suck i went there

  • Rely shouldn't be compounding the breaks...........

  • defectus???

  • That's a school bus, would it be the same for a 13 or 18 speed truck?

  • She trained me when I got my CZ 5 years ago...don't you dare ever start her bus without first letting the gauges fully cycle!

  • @spacemoose39 I have been told you should do that on every bus

  • the tests are different than those from quebec, these are simpler

  • great info, thanks for sharing

  • Nice video's it helped me with my cdl test thank you very much!!!!!

  • Do's anyone know where i can take a free cdl test???

  • @jasonmildward34 I don't think anyone does a free test, but the lessons and test would probably be included by some school bus companies if you agree to work for one school year.

  • @trophyYYC Yes I found a Free Testings online I posted it on my Homepage. I used it and passed.

  • Thanks for this, this is exactly what an MTO examiner wants to hear on test day

  • Very nice presentation, if I had kids I'd want them to be in your bus :)

  • Comment removed

  • your air build up would be bad if more then 45 sec from 80-100psi

  • only in the east, a fukn 2by4 for real. bahaha

  • really??? i stick on the brake?? ask the instructor to hold the brake seriously

  • umm im sure the governor cuts in at 90 and cuts out at 120 (+-5psi) safety release at 150p alarm @60 psi andemergency brake application at 30PSI

  • you missed step 2....drain tanks in order- wet-primary-secondary

  • Re: johnyonge:

    Great instructional video ????

Sure...if you feel like looking like an idiot on the day of your test or job interview. You're obviously a student from one of these mills in Brampton or you don't know a bloody thing about air brakes. ( I guess that remark was redundant. )

  • What a bad idea to test the parking break in reverse....no good, specially when you never know who might be in the back of the bus. that is why the manual say "BAKING IS ALWAYS DANGEROUS" what about if when you are testing the parking break fail?

  • Never mind about the music! Pay attention what the woman is showing you!

  • this is a great instructional vid but please could you re-edit and take the music off?

  • yes please trun the music off an talk up thank you.

  • why does everybody play freakin music with their video? why?

  • Wheel block on a steering tire .....HUGE safety concern there. Compounding brakes during the check. BAD move. A close look at the air tanks also shows the first one she drains is a split tank. Never in my 25 years working with trucks have I ever seen a wet tank split with a secondary. ( I even called Freightliner to verify that. ) I assuming this is a student still learning about the air brake system. ( Time to forward this link to Stock Transportation. lol )
