Look up skydiving video helmets.....They are made with flat tops to mount all kinds of video/still gear onto. I fly my PPG but with much better production quality gear and also use it when I skydive too. My videos are rock solid and smooth. You just need to look with your eyes instead of always turning your head. It takes a little practice but looks VERY good when you get it figured out.
i was thinking of straping a cam to my foot while flying but all you would see is a bunch of dirt some wires and a run away water bottle. i like your fence hoping. low level hijinx
With the ATC2k, as you now know, you must aim for all below the horizon or all above. Any shots with ground AND sky will render anything below the horizon too dark to see. It's tricky but you did a great job.
No, it was pure luck, and I didn't know that. Thanks for the tip. Can't wait to try some more stuff. I'd like to figure out an anti-vibration frame mount, but that is a difficult problem.

I loved it.
That's what I like to do also- strap the camera low and do some low flying.
