You can actually watch the full game on the AFL website by going into the video section and find the Qualifying Final in the 1993 Premiership Season option.

There are lots more other games from years gone by including that memorable Preliminary Final from the same year.

'93 Qualifying Final; Carlton by 2 points;first night final; the Bombers knew then, that they had the Blues' measure. Once Essendon beat the Crows, after being down by 44 pts at half time in the following week's Prelim Final, the Blues were never going to outrun the younger Dons. Alas, somehow, those memories can't erase the sadness that comes from the '99 Prelim Final loss by 1 point to the Blues. As in life, sport is a humbling lesson, even when you THINK you're the best team...what a game!
