I used the larger size pvc piping to build frame, andthe 1/2 inch size to put the handles of the milk jugs through, and placed them on top of the frame.
Your squash was getting too much water is what it looked like to me. Rotting and dropping off when about thumb-sized is a sign of too much water. Cut back and within 7-10 days the problem should be resolved.
Hey ((((Sharon))) quit teasing us with all those gorgeous tomatoes...I swear I can taste them from here hee hee I never had much luck with squash but I'm hoping someone out there has so they can help you grow & enjoy them. Love the colors of the marigolds so much :))) xoxox
thanks, I had fun friday night, then ended up at my nieces house Saturday night, and didn't have a good enough internet connection, and tonight I am tired and heading to bed(only got 3 1/2 hours of sleep last night)
A hanging garden that's pretty cool and great way to reuse!

yep I used milk jugs! I cut a hole in the bottom and put the tomatoes in, then put plants on top.

My nieghbor gave me an idea that I will try next year, the squash needs more room to grow. I cant wait till the larger tomatoes get ripe!!
