For the record, getting greater access to the facilities before hand just happens to be one of the advantages of being the host country. We are just getting flak for it because people expect Canadians to be passive and unassertive. The unfair helmet claim is utter poppycock. I was a car design engineer for 25 yrs. If anything, those tiny ridges at a 45 deg. angle HINDER, not help the laminar flow over Amys body. Besides, efficient aerodynamics is a legitimate goal in some Olympic sports. Bobsled is a prime example. Wealthy teams (eg. Canadians & Americans) spend big $ to design & develop sleds with least wind resistance. Do competitors from poorer countries object that Canada has an unfair advantage with a hi-tech sled?
